Since 2010, our staff have continued to innovate, adapt and expand our services to deliver great care to our communities, closer to home.

  • CLCH delivers the first drive through testing clinic to help control Covid-19 in the early stages of the pandemic and volunteers come together to arrange tens of thousands of PPE deliveries to protect staff during the Covid-19 pandemic
  • CLCH implements the first Covid virtual hospital in the UK in collaboration with West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospital to provide holistic assessments to patients at home, using remote monitoring equipment.
  • The Trust launches its Green Plan to minimise negative environmental impact and maximise opportunities to provide sustainable healthcare to our patients and communities

  • Nineteen adult community services in Hertfordshire, including respiratory and sexual health, are brought together to create the Hertfordshire Division at CLCH
  • Our inner borough health visiting service becomes the first in London to achieve the UNICEF Baby Friendly Gold Sustainability award

  • CLCH merges with Barnet Community Services to expand the boroughs to which the Trust delivers care

  • Following an integration of three Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) in Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster in 2008, CLCH is established as the first and largest community healthcare trust in London.
