From this month Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) is delivering adult community health services in Harrow. This includes community nursing, diabetes, specialist nursing , podiatry, and rehabilitation services.
CLCH provides community health services to around a million people across London and Hertfordshire and Harrow will become the 9th borough in which the trust operates.
It's healthcare professionals provide high quality healthcare in people's homes or at convenient local clinics, helping them to stay well, manage their own health with the right support and avoid unnecessary trips to, or long stays in hospital.
Cathy Walker, Director at CLCH said: "We're really excited about working together with our local healthcare partners and supporting adults at local clinics and in their own homes in Harrow.
"Our priority during our first weeks is to make sure that care is not disrupted and in the long term, supporting staff to further increase the quality of care for people in Harrow."
