CLCH offers innovative new summer school programme

CLCH is running a summer school giving young people an opportunity to experience life as an Allied Health Professional (AHP). The first of its kind nationally, young people can learn more about what is involved in the following professions:

  • Dietetics
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Orthoptics
  • Paramedics
  • Podiatry
  • Speech and Language therapy
  • Physiotherapy

Patsy Fung, Chief AHP at CLCH said; “As part of widening access and participation to AHP careers we are delighted to launch an innovative summer school programme in August 2024 where we will be working in partnership with universities and professional bodies to deliver a two-week programme for 16-18 year olds to introduce the seven AHP groups at CLCH.”
