To mark Nutrition and Hydration Week, we are showcasing a research paper entitled "Experiences of dietitian’s working in care homes in England" written by Vittoria Romano, Specialist Nutrition Support Dietitian (Appropriate Prescribing Lead), as lead author was recently published in the peer-reviewed international journal of Age and Ageing of British Geriatrics Society.

Our Nutrition and Dietetics teams and Speech and Language Therapists across the Trust are taking part in National Nutrition and Hydration Week (Monday 14th to Sunday 20th March 2022) to promote how vital having good nutrition health and staying hydrated is and raise awareness of the malnutrition and prevent dehydration.

Local residents in North West London are being invited to the latest in a series of engagement events about community-based specialist palliative care services. The events aim to seek feedback from residents on how they should provide high quality care and a good patient, family and carer experience. Community-based specialist palliative care services are palliative and end of life care services that are provided in a community setting (i.e. patient’s home, hospice inpatient unit or day care services, care home, community hospital/centre) by services with care professionals who have been specialist trained in this field.
