Launching our International Women's Day campaign

Our quarter four spotlight campaign is International Women’s Day. Taking place on Wednesday 8 March 2023, it is an opportunity to celebrate women’s rights and inspire people to act in the ongoing battle for gender equality.
 
This year’s theme is 'Embrace Equity' which highlights the importance of how gender equity needs to be part of every society's DNA. 

In this video, Cathy Walker, CLCH Interim Chief Operating Officer discusses what our campaign will cover over the coming months including staff stories, videos and information to spotlight the incredible work of our female workforce and our Women's Network. 

Forging gender equity isn't limited to women; allies are incredibly important for the social, economic, cultural, and political advancement of women. Therefore, we are encouraging all members of staff to support this cause, as everyone wins when gender equality is forged.

Part of the Trust’s Equality Strategy is committed to building greater awareness and confidence on equity. There’s still so much to do, however we have seen many advancements for women over the years. So together, let’s embrace equity.
