Jitesh Chotai appointed as Non-Executive Director

jitesh_chotai_hub 25th may 2016.jpgWe are pleased to announce that Jitesh Chotai will be joining the Board of Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust from 1 June 2016.

Angela Greatley, Trust Chair, said: "Jitesh has a wealth of experience at a senior level in the NHS which I am sure will strengthen the Board. It is a really strong appointment from a strong group of candidates. I'm looking forward to working with Jitesh and welcoming him to the CLCH team.

Jitesh added: "I am passionate about the NHS and the quality of care we provide to every patient we look after. I hope with my experience I will be able to positively contribute to the future direction of CLCH."

Prior to retiring in March 2015, Jitesh had worked with a wide range of NHS organisations for over 34 years. His last role was as a Director of Finance at East London NHS Foundation Trust. Prior to that Jitesh has worked in both community healthcare trusts and health authorities.

The appointment was made by NHS Improvement as the NHS organisation responsible for appointing all chairs and non-executives to NHS trusts throughout England.  All appointments are subject to the Code of Practice of the Commissioner for Public Appointments, and made following an open competition based on merit, in a way that is open, transparent and fair to all applicants.

The term of the appointment is from 1 June 2016 to 31 May 2019 and the role receives remuneration of £6,157 per annum. Jitesh has no declared political activity.
