International Infection Prevention Week (16 - 22 October 2022)

International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW) will be held between 16 - 22 October 2022 and every year it aims to shine a light on infection prevention.

Over the next few months, CLCH will be sharing stories from our Infection prevention control team, highlighting the activity that reduces the risk of healthcare associated infection in a healthcare setting.

Infection prevention is no longer just around COVID and in this video, Clare Johnstone, CLCH Deputy Director of Infection Prevention Control discusses what our campaign will cover this year. This will include information and resources about a range of infection prevention activity, as well as 'meet the team' profiles. This will be an opportunity to learn more about our infection prevention nurses and how they support you, as well as our clinical services.
