Held as part of the Trust’s commitment to promoting health and wellbeing, Diversilicious featured culinary delights from North India, South India, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Nigeria, England, and Bangladesh. Each dish reflected the heritage and traditions of the team members, sparking conversations and a sense of pride in their cultural roots. To further enhance the experience, music from each region filled the air, creating an immersive cultural celebration.

One of the key organisers of the event, Sohil Jangra, Therapy Clinical Lead and a Health and Wellbeing Ambassador, shared his vision:

"I am of the opinion that most people are proud of their roots, race, culture, origin, and language. People love talking about their food as well. Food brings people together, which was quite evident during this event. When people feel connected, proud, heard, appreciated, and happy, their morale automatically gets uplifted. That’s exactly what I aimed for as a Health and Wellbeing Ambassador."

The success of Diversilicious was evident in the joy and camaraderie it created among staff, with attendees expressing immense appreciation and calling for similar events in the future. The initiative reinforced CLCH's ethos as an inclusive and supportive workplace where every individual feels valued.

By creating spaces where people feel heard and appreciated, CLCH continues to set a benchmark as an exceptional place to work.

With events like Diversilicious, CLCH continues its commitment to being a place where diversity is celebrated, and every individual—regardless of their background—feels welcome, appreciated, and proud to be part of the team.
