Celebrating 13 Years of Community Care: A Journey of Quality, Resilience and Growth
As we mark the 13th anniversary of Central London Community Healthcare becoming an NHS Trust, we take a moment to reflect on the journey we've undertaken since November 2010. From our beginnings as the first and largest community healthcare trust in London, we've expanded to deliver great care closer to home for over 4 million people across 11 London boroughs and Hertfordshire.

Over the years, our organisation has been honoured with many prestigious awards, including the UNICEF Baby Friendly Gold Sustainability award, the Health Service Journal’s ‘Provider Trust of the Year’ award and Stonewall’s silver award for leading LGBTQ+ inclusive employers. These accolades reinforce our dedication to excellence, inclusivity, and positive community impact.
The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic fuelled our commitment to innovation and service. We proudly established the first drive-through testing clinic, and our volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure tens of thousands of PPE deliveries, safeguarding our staff on the front lines.
None of our achievements would be possible without the incredible individuals who form the backbone of our organisation. From community nurses and health visitors to medical staff and pharmacists, every staff member contributes to our shared mission of providing compassionate care to the communities we serve.
