Capita signs partnership agreement with CLCH
CLCH has agreed a contract with Capita to deliver a range of core support services on behalf of the trust, including elements of ICT, HR (payroll and recruitment), estates and facilities management followed by the planned delivery of financial invoicing and payment services.
The partnership will provide effective and efficient corporate support to help protect investment in frontline services and allow CLCH's clinical teams to focus on providing the best possible patient care.
CLCH will retain the strategic leadership and control across all these services, while approximately 120 roles will move to Capita.
James Reilly, Chief Executive at CLCH said "The partnership will help us grow as an organisation; developing new services and improving existing ones to better meet the need of both patients and commissioners. It will be a key part of helping us deliver the savings needed in 2015/16 and beyond."
Andy Parker, Chief Executive, Capita, said: "This contract is testament to our experience of working in the health sector and highlights the depth and breadth of our services and expertise as a strategic partner. This partnership will help support an ambition to deliver services more effectively and more efficiently, while still improving patient care, by providing insight driven simplified, streamlined and cost effective corporate services to CLCH."
CLCH is working closely with the teams involved to offer the right level of support as it moves towards mobilisation and a transfer date. The exact timings are still being worked through but the transfer is scheduled to go live from the start of September.
