Anti-Bullying Week 2021: Say "One Kind Word" to staff

Published: 15th November 2021

Today (Monday 15 November 2021) marks the start of Anti-Bullying Week across England, a national campaign run by the Anti-Bullying Alliance to highlight and tackle instances of bullying. The week itself runs from Monday 15 November until Friday 19 November.

Staff at CLCH are continuing to work incredibly hard to get through the patient backlog caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. When interacting with staff either face-to-face, over email or over the phone, please continue to be polite and respectful towards them.

Help our colleagues and all colleagues across the NHS continue to help people and not be harmed whilst doing their jobs. We would like to remind patients and service users that any instances of disrespectful, abusive or unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated.

The theme of this year’s campaign is “One Kind Word”, encouraging people to say one kind thing to one another to help break the cycle of bullying.

If a member of CLCH staff has gone above and beyond in their care of yourself or a loved one, you can let us know via our patient advice and liaison support (PALS) team. To contact the PALS team, please visit their page.
