I would like to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:
1. How many A&E check-ins and scheduled injury appointments have there been concerning e-bike, e-scooter, Lime bike or lime scooter-related incidents/accidents between 2018 and the latest data you have in 2024?
2. In how many of these incidents was the person riding the bike or scooter?3. In how many of these incidents was the person a pedestrian?
4. If possible, please provide a breakdown/specific numbers relating to Lime bike and Lime scooter-related accidents. 5. Please provide a yearly breakdown of the incidents reported.
I can confirm I would be happy for you to conduct a keyword search of reports for 'e-bike', 'e-scooter', 'lime bike', 'limebike', 'lime scooter' to obtain this information as accurately as possible.
If you can provide specific details such as age range, gender and location of appointment/admission that would be really helpful.
