• Whether each network receives funding from the trust and, if so, how much (please express annually for the last three financial years)

I am unable to confirm previous years funding but as per the Staff Networks policy, which was revised 2024/2025, each core network is resourced with funding. This is typically around £5000 per annum, but is revised, confirmed, and valid each financial year. The additional project networks receive funding from their central programme/directorate as they are deliveries of Trust strategies.

• How much FTE equivalent staff time each network is entitled to. For example, a staff network may have a chair who’s entitled to spend 10% of their working hours devoted to the network (please express annually for the last three financial years)

The original Equalities Network Policy from June 2022 offered all Core Officers 15 hours protected time a month. In the 2024 revised edition and retitled Staff Networks Policy provides Chairs with 15 hours/per month protected time, and Vice Chairs 7.5 hours/per month. This protected time is calculated pro rata and automatic reimbursements sent from central to local cost codes.
