I was hoping to understand your processes regarding how you scan your current and historic records. Are there manual processes involved such as indexing the data and quality assurance? It would also be great to understand the rough volume of documents you scan, and the hardware/software used for this.

Response 

  1. Guidelines and quality assurance procedures relating to scanning and digitisation are contained within our Records Management Policy (please see attachment: Appendix E - Procedure for scanning paper records locally)
  2. From the period 1st Feb 2024 to 23rd October 2024, a total of 822,751 Pages were scanned (this covers the period where we started the transition to new hardware (Canon to Kyocera).
