It offers a comprehensive range of support to help people self-manage and remain independent, or to adapt and modify their lifestyles to adjust to increasing dependence. Housebound patients are seen by district nurses in the first instance.

Barnet has a Stoma Nurse Specialist service for any patient who has had a stoma formation.

Home visits are available.

Kensington and Chelsea has a women’s health physiotherapist who works in the team also.

Our Wandsworth continence service is currently for housebound patients and nursing and residential home patients with complex continence and catheter problems.

Referral criteria

  • Patients 18 and over
  • Bladder and/or bowel dysfunction
  • Living or registered with a GP in Barnet, Kensington & Chelsea, Merton and Wandsworth

Our continence clinics are held Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm at various locations. No clinics are held on weekends and bank holidays.
