New infant drop-in clinic launched in Hammersmith and Fulham to support families
Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust has launched a new Infant Feeding Drop In Clinic in Hammersmith and Fulham providing vital support for families with young children.
The drop in clinic is now open on Tuesdays from 9.30am to 11.30am (during school term time) to all families with children under the age of five, offering both practical guidance on breastfeeding, infant feeding, or weaning, and emotional reassurance at one of the most important stages of early childhood development.
The clinic is welcoming and supportive space where parents can simply visit with no scheduled appointment needed and can:
- Get expert advice on a wide range of feeding questions.
- Speak directly with the health visiting team.
- Share their experiences with others.
- Connect with fellow parents navigating similar stages.
Pamela Gregory, Infant Feeding and Healthy Weight Lead for Hammersmith and Fulham at CLCH said: “We understand that feeding can be a challenging part of early parenthood, and this drop-in service ensures that parents have access to professional advice and peer support in a relaxed environment.”
