Introducing our refreshed Trust Values
In July, we launched our refreshed organisational values as part of our Trust Strategy 2025–2030.
Developed with our staff, these values reflect how we work together, collaborate with partners, and care for the communities we serve. They are central to our culture and support our mission to enable thriving communities and make the neighbourhood health service a reality.
Our values:
- Accountability: We take ownership of our actions, act transparently, learn from mistakes, and take responsibility for our impact on patients, neighbourhoods, and the wider system.
- Inclusion: We celebrate diversity and ensure every voice is heard. We create a culture of integrity, curiosity, openness, and belonging.
- Compassion: We show kindness, empathy, and understanding, building trusted relationships and providing holistic care that recognises people’s lives and circumstances.
- Empowerment: We support patients and families to play an active role in their care, and we work together to achieve the best outcomes for all.
Chief Executive Officer, James Benson, said:
“I'm so proud that the values have been developed by colleagues, and speak to that type of organisation that I believe we are and will become.
“They are more than just words. They underpin the cultural shift we need to achieve our mission.”
These values guide how we work every day — shaping the care we provide, the partnerships we build, and the difference we make in our communities.
