The transformation addresses a growing need for additional space, prompted by the expansion of HPL’s healthcare teams and services. With new clinic rooms and team spaces now available, the centre is poised to significantly enhance patient care and support the community's health needs. The refurbishment has increased the facility’s capacity to see patients face-to-face, a move expected to greatly benefit both patients and healthcare providers alike.

Despite extensive renovation work, the HPL team made it a priority to ensure continuity of care with minimal disruption to patients. During the refurbishment, staff carefully adapted, redirecting patients and team members to alternate rooms using safer, less disruptive routes. Thoughtful planning meant that key areas remained accessible, allowing the centre to continue its critical services uninterrupted.

The patient waiting area has also undergone a complete upgrade making it more welcoming and comfortable for everyone who comes through our doors. The refreshed space offers a more inviting environment, creating a positive first impression for those visiting the centre.

In addition to improved patient care, the refurbished space allows healthcare teams to convene in person more frequently, boosting morale and enhancing team cohesion. The increased office space, as well as maximised use of clinical areas, ensures that the health centre can meet current demand and prepare for future growth.

The newly modernised Honeypot Lane health centre stands as a testament to CLCH's commitment to providing high-quality, accessible healthcare, and it is a welcome development for the local community.
