Further resources added to Long COVID elearning programme

Published: 11th April 2022

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) has been working in partnership with Health Education England elearning for healthcare (HEE elfh), NHS England and NHS Improvement to develop further resources in the long COVID elearning programme.

The aim of this elearning programme, dedicated to long COVID and post-COVID syndrome, is broadening the health and care workforce's understanding of long COVID. The resource was developed for those working with patients presenting with long COVID, outside of a Specialist Post-COVID Assessment and Treatment Service.

Further to the Introduction to Long COVID and Post-COVID Syndrome elearning, launched in August 2021, this new session on Living with Long COVID discusses the complex variety of peoples’ lived experiences of long COVID and highlights how holistic healthcare management can assist in the care of these patients. Managing Symptoms of Long COVID explores some of the common symptoms of long COVID. An additional, curated list of external resources on long COVID is also available to access.

Each of the elearning sessions takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and a certificate is available to download on completing each session.

Additional sessions on maternity and mental health are being developed and are expected to be available in Autumn 2022.
