Flourishing together: Highlights from our DAISY, Marigold and Tulip awards celebration
Our first-ever award ceremony was a heartfelt celebration of the inspiring dedication, compassionate service, and outstanding professionalism our winners have consistently demonstrated in supporting and uplifting local communities. The event provided a moment to reflect on their remarkable contributions, acknowledge their hard work, and recognise the difference they continue to make for both our patients and staff.
The event started with a warm welcome from the Chief Nurse, Charlie Sheldon who personally congratulated each awardee as they received their award and highlighted some of the incredible work they have done within the Trust. Every recipient was presented with a certificate, an honouree pin, a handcrafted sculpture, and a curated gift bag.
Chief Nurse, Charlie Sheldon said:
"It’s such a pleasure to meet and be able to thank our wonderful colleagues whose compassion and unwavering excellence inspire hope and transform the lives of patients and families every day. The DAISY, Tulip, and Marigold awards honour the dedication and impact of CLCH employees by providing meaningful appreciation and celebrating their achievements. I encourage you all to submit a nomination, as the awards reflect our commitment to valuing dedication and formally recognising the contributions of staff across the Trust.”
Congratulations to all the awardees!
