CLCH Wellbeing App celebrates it first anniversary and over 500 downloads

Published: 20th December 2023

This month the CLCH Wellbeing App has reached its first anniversary, having brought support to over 500 staff members over the last year.

With tailored advice, support and events based on feedback gathered through staff surveys, wellbeing conversations and wellbeing forums, the Wellbeing App can be accessed on a personal mobile phone, so staff don’t need to turn on a work phone to browse the app out of hours.

Following the app’s launch in December 2022 it has continuously developed to include resources that matter to colleagues. Responding to issues that affect our staff, the app has recently hosted resources and information for colleagues affected by the menopause and tuned into key campaigns that focus on inclusivity and health such as Black History Month, Interfaith Week and Disability History Month. With over 61,000 interactions on the app over the last year, staff have engaged and relished the opportunity to tap into wellbeing resources, staff accounts and training away from work sites, hours and devices.

Wellbeing Lead, Lucia Ricci said:

“The popularity of the app shows that the support we can provide our staff is not limited to working hours.

“The diversity of support is well represented across the app and this is shown in the diversity of staff who use it.”

May Lim, Occupational Therapist and Reasonable Adjustments Advisor at CLCH, said:

“The app is such a useful way of accessing wellbeing-related information when I am not at work.

“The holistic approach to wellbeing at CLCH is so beneficial to myself and my colleagues.”

Lauren Lewis, Nurse and Pastoral Support Officer at CLCH, said:

“The app is a wonderful way of having easy, on the go access to the resources available.

“The wellbeing and pastoral interventions being implemented in the trust show the care felt for staff members, making us all feel so valued.”
