CLCH welcomes Melanie Lindsay as Non-Executive Director to the Trust Board

NHS England has confirmed the appointment of Melanie Lindsay as Non-Executive Director at CLCH. Melanie will chair the Finance and Service Transformation Committee.

Melanie is a consultant with extensive experience working in the US, UK and Europe across multiple sectors including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, financial services and media. Over the last 25 years, Melanie has built deep knowledge and capabilities for change management and has published and presented papers on key aspects of successful change.

Melanie holds a law degree from the University of Bristol and an MBA from London Business School.

Melanie replaces Harpreet Sood on CLCH’s Board, who stood down in June 2025.

Dick Sorabji, Acting Chair of CLCH, said: 

“Melanie brings extensive board experience in helping complex organisations to manage change and innovate as they focus on more ambitious goals and better outcomes. This is just the challenge we face as we move to integrated neighbourhood working. Melanie has worked in healthcare and related sectors both in the UK and internationally. I am delighted to welcome her to CLCH.

Melanie joined the board on 1 July 2025. She joins non-executive directors Greg Rubins, Kemi Adenubi and Professor Simon Woldman.

The term of the appointment is three years, and the role receives remuneration of £14,000 per annum. Melanie has no declared political activity.
