CLCH Speech & Language therapists nominated for HSJ award

CLCH's specially designed programme for newly qualified speech and language therapists has been shortlisted in the 'workforce category' at the 2016 HSJ awards.

The "Newly Qualified Speech and Language Therapists Professional Development Programme" has been set up to support recent graduates working across a range of children's services including special schools, mainstream schools, clinics and nurseries, all of whom were at a similar stage of career development.

It is offered alongside clinical supervision, aiming to develop participant's ability to reflect on the professional skills required for the job, helping build professional resilience and support overall well-being at work.

The SLT team will present their entry to the HSJ award judging panel on Wednesday 19th October with the winners announced at an awards ceremony on Wednesday 23rd November at the InterContinental O2 in London.
