CLCH confirmed as integrator to help drive forward neighbourhood health in Barnet
Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH), in partnership with Barnet GP Federation, has been confirmed the integrator for the borough of Barnet, to drive forward the development of neighbourhood health in London. This announcement, alongside the confirmation of integrator arrangements in each of the other four boroughs in North Central London, marks a major milestone in delivering more integrated, person-centred care across the region.
The integrator model is designed to strengthen collaboration between NHS organisations, local authorities, voluntary and community partners, and residents themselves — ensuring services are designed around people and place. It reflects the Government’s ‘three shifts’ approach, which focuses on building a shared understanding across partners, aligning services around local communities and creating the conditions for more responsive, preventative, neighbourhood-based care.
As an integrator, CLCH will work closely with Barnet GP Federation (a collaborative group of NHS GP practices in Barnet) and the borough-wide network of partners to create the infrastructure and relationships that enable Neighbourhood Health to thrive. Together, the partnership will champion data-driven population health approaches, support innovation at neighbourhood level, and strengthen the links between health, care, and community services.
Kathleen Isaac, Director of Operations for the North Central Division at CLCH said:
“This is a proud moment for our organisation and a testament to the strong partnerships we have built in the borough. Working alongside Barnet GP Federation and our wider community partners, we are committed to strengthening neighbourhood services so people can access the right support closer to home.
“We are excited to help lay the foundations for a more connected, person-centred approach to health and wellbeing across Barnet.”
Dr Anjali Gibbs, Chair of Barnet Federated GPs, said:
“We are delighted to be working in partnership with CLCH as the integrator for Barnet.
“This is an important step in strengthening how primary care, community services and local partners work together around the needs of our residents.”
Sarah McDonnell-Davies, Chief Transformation Officer for North Central London and North West London ICBs, said:
“Identifying our integrator arrangements is a significant milestone in developing Neighbourhood Health services across North Central London.
“Each borough partnership will work together with the integrators to bring together local strengths, from GP federations and local authorities to community and acute trusts and the voluntary sector. They will be responsible for creating the conditions for neighbourhoods to thrive.”
These integrator partnerships are not replacements for existing borough collaborations, but instead strengthen them — providing the framework and shared accountability needed to deliver more integrated and preventative care.
