Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust rated Good by CQC

We are pleased to announce that Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH) NHS Trust has been rated as Good overall by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), in its latest inspection report published today.

CQC carried out our inspection of our Children’s services between 19 February and 18 March 2020.

Our Children’s services received a Good rating for being effective, caring, responsive and well-led. In the domain safe, we received a rating of Requires improvement which remains the same as our inspection in 2017.

CQC noted our achievement of the Gold sustainability award for the Baby Friendly initiative in Hammersmith and Fulham as outstanding practice as well as recognising the work of our Speech and Language team in running coffee mornings for parents in special schools as also being outstanding.

Routine inspections were suspended by CQC on 16 March 2020 to support and reduce the pressure on health and social care services during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of this, our well-led inspection was not completed.

CLCH is committed to improving the care we provide. We will review the recommendations made in today’s report to ensure that we continue to improve all of our services, across all areas across the Trust

The report from the most recent inspection is available to view on the CQC website.
