Cavell Nurses Trust awards success for Health Matters website

It's been an award winning few months for our school nurse Ruth Butler, who has received further recognition for her work on the Health Matters project. In addition to her recent success at the RCNi awards she's also achieved Runner Up in the Innovation in School Nursing category at the Cavell Nurses Trust awards.

The awards celebrate the outstanding contribution that UK Nurses bring to the profession and the impact their hard work has on those they care for. This award was presented to a school nurse that's shown innovation in bringing relevant services to young people and was submitted by End of Life Care Nursing Lead, Hilary Shanahan.

Hilary said: " I was delighted to nominate Ruth for this award, who, through her work on Health Matters, has demonstrated true initiative and commitment to young people and her role."
