BBQ sizzler at Pembridge

Published: 10th July 2017

Our Pembridge Hospice Charity held their annual summer barbecue last week and the team couldn't have hoped for a warmer day to host it.

On a scorching afternoon in the courtyard behind the service's centre, over 30 day hospice patients, friends, family and volunteers - as well as staff from the service came together for the enjoyable event.

Dil Chowdhury-Mahi, Volunteer Manager at Pembridge said:

"It was the perfect opportunity to escape the clinical environment and for staff, patients and volunteers to come together and enjoy good food, good weather and great company.

"There were concerns of there being rain throughout the day but the weather held out and with a range of amazing free drinks from drinks companyt Innocent, it was the perfect icing on the cake."
