1. Who holds trustwide responsibility for the maintenance of procedures and policies?- The Trust Policy Ratification Group
2. What is their name and email address?-clcht.policy@nhs.net
3. What digital tools does the trust use for the staff to reference these procedures and policies? Intranet and documents are shared through communication bulletins.
4. How does the trust record that staff have read and comply with the procedures and policies? Each policy has a monitoring table that outlines how committees will oversee and monitor where reasonably practicable the compliance with aspects of the policy and procedural documents. There is no central recording of staff reading and complying with each policy.
5. Which tools are used for on-boarding new staff in relation to reading procedures and policies?- Key policies are outlined in Induction and in the Statutory / Mandatory training booklet
6. How do the heads of department monitor that clinical and non-clinical staff have read/understood mandatory procedural updates? Compliance with the Statutory / Mandatory training booklet is closely monitored, and it is regularly updated with any key changes relevant to trust policy. We also engage teams when developing new or updating existing policies
7. How many staff have accessed your NHS Intranet in the past year? The reporting on our current intranet does not allow for pulling the number of staff who have accessed our intranet
