- How many amputation surgeries have been performed at your NHS trust since 2017? 9 total or partial toe amputations in that time
- How many upper limb amputation surgeries have been performed at your NHS trust since 2017? None were undertaken
- How many lower limb amputation surgeries have been performed at your NHS trust since 2017? 9 total or partial toe amputations in that time
- Please provide a breakdown of the primary causes for amputation surgeries at your NHS trust since 2017?
1 x ulcerated non-healing 5th toe due to gout.
8x 2nd toe amputations due to dislocated, redundant toes (usually secondary to bunion) where fitting into stock shoes is proving difficult, and full repair would not be possible due to complexity of the deformity or health of patient.
