Request

1. What are the biggest challenges your organisation currently faces in surveying and geospatial activity? 

We are a community Trusty who occupy a range of clinic and smaller sites, mostly owned and managed by landlords NHS Property Services and Community Health Partners properties. We have a small number of Trust owned freehold properties <15.

2. Are you confident in your full knowledge of the condition and knowledge of your impact on our local environment? 

We work with our landlords and partners to assess our sites annually to try to ensure all relevant records are up to date and accurate.

We refuse to respond as information requested does not fall under the FOI Act 2000.

3. What are your organisation’s key strategic objectives for the next 12-24 months, and how does surveying and geospatial fit into these?

Our strategy documents can be found on our trust website

4. Please detail any planned development of sites or assets

None planned – all sites are subject to a program of refurbishment and condition improvements,

5. Do you have a supplier for drainage mapping and surveying?

This is part of our partnership contract with Capita and ISS Medi clean. For our clinics and 2 community Hospital sites.  

6. If so, please can you supply details of the contractual arrangements in place including date of award, details of any Framework used or link to the advertisement, contract value and duration

It is a contracted obligation within the partnership contract for Total Facilities and Estate Management services. This contract ends October 2025 and is currently being tendered for award in May 2025.

7. If not, please can you indicate what evaluation of the requirement for surveying and geospatial works have been undertaken?

8. How do you engage with potential new suppliers—through open tenders, direct engagement, or supplier days?

We use a range of methods for different procurements. In relation to the currently running one it was an open Expression of Interest , followed by a down selection process (including supplier days), the Tender is a Restricted Procedure.

9. Please can you confirm the individual responsible for managing your surveying and geospatial contracts or wider development contracts and provide their contact details and role title?

11. Do you plan to repurpose any sites for renewable energy or solar farms?

No – We run small inner city NHS clinics and 2 community hospitals. We do have EV chargers and solar panels within many of our sites.

12. Do you have any issues with subsidence in your properties? If so, where?

None

13. When developing/purchasing/selling a site, how do you verify that the boundaries are correct?

We don’t sell or purchase sites. We would however engage a surveyor and work with our solicitors and land registry.
