Request
Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the contact information for your Learning and Development department or the appropriate person overseeing staff training and development. Additionally, I am interested in any information on programmes or initiatives related to sustainability training and development.
Response
We are exploring partnerships to offer a sustainability apprenticeship programme and would appreciate information on any relevant training initiatives already in place
Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust offers the following sustainability training:
- Developed by Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, available via ELFH
- Available on CLCH iLearn since Q1 2023/24
- Provides healthcare workforce with the knowledge and skills to deliver healthcare for financial, social and environmental sustainability
- Elearning, each module approx. 1 hour long
- Free
- Module 1: Building a Net Zero NHS - an introduction to environmentally sustainable healthcare
- Module 2: Environmental Sustainability in Quality Improvement - integrating environmental, social and financial considerations into quality improvement

We do not currently run an apprenticeship programme. The FOI requestor might like to make further enquiries with the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare who run various courses
