1) Could you please provide me with an understanding of how your Trust defines OH and EAP respectively? What elements/criteria do you measure to track the provision of each?
Occupational Health is an advisory support which helps to maintain and promote employee health and wellbeing. OH services provide direct support and advice to employers and managers, as well as support at an organisational level.
Core occupational Health services in CLCH are:
- Pre-placement assessments
- Workplace immunisation programmes
- Sickness absence assessments
- Occupational exposure injury management
Additional services are:
- Mental health support (in-house service)
- Physiotherapy (third party provider)
CLCH does not use an EAP service.
Provision is tracked via activity levels to various Trust groups.
2.) Could you also please provide a breakdown of how much the trust spends on OH and EAP respectively from the total spending figures you have provided in your initial FOI response?
CLCH does not use an EAP service therefore is zero.
