This information does exist but we consider it to be exempt under Section 43(2) of the act as its disclosure would, or would be likely, prejudice the commercial interests the supplier and the Trust’s ability to negotiate contracts

Fully comprehensive

 

10. If an external service provider(s) is used, what is the contract renewal date(s)?

The current contract commenced on 1 April 2023 and has an end date of 31 March 2026, with the option of a two year extension.

12. If medical device maintenance is managed internally, how many clinical engineers are employed by the Trust?

N/A

 

13. What is the current % of assets ‘within service date’ – i.e., the date by which a device must be serviced has not expired?

As of 31 October 2025, all devices in the Trust had their routine schedule maintenance scheduled. 57% of all devices in the Trust were presented to the supplier and had their scheduled service completed. Before using any medical devices, our staff check that they are within their service maintenance date. If they are not, the device is not used and a maintenance request is raised.
