Maintenance is provided under contract by an external organisation

Yes. As per the answer to question 5, maintenance is provided under contract by an external organisation

MTS Health Limited for the majority of devices. A small percentage of specialist equipment is managed by other providers.

Fully Comprehensive for all devices

The current contract commenced on 1 April 2023 and has an end date of 31 March 2026, with the option of a two year extension.
12. Where an external service provider(s) is utilised, what was the value of the contract on award?
This information does exist but we consider it to be exempt under Section 43(2) of the act as its disclosure would, or would be likely, prejudice the commercial interests the supplier and the Trust’s ability to negotiate contracts
13. Please confirm as a percentage the amount of devices that have had their routine scheduled service/inspection completed?
As of 31 October 2025, all devices had their routine schedule maintenance scheduled. 57% of all devices were presented to the supplier and had their scheduled service completed.
14. Please confirm as a percentage the amount of devices that have not had their routine scheduled service/inspection completed?
As of 31 October 2025, 43% of all devices were not presented to the supplier during their planned preventive maintenance visit and have not had their scheduled service completed. Before using any medical devices, our staff check that they are within their service maintenance date. If they are not, the device is not used and a maintenance request is raised.
