Yes – the Trust Violence and Aggression at Work Policy addresses how all staff should manage incidents of unacceptable behaviour from patients, relatives/carers/friends of patients, or members of the public. The Trust Violence and Aggression at Work Standard Operating Procedure provides full guidance on the handling of incidents of violence and aggression against staff and the sanctions available to managers.
