Please also address treatment courses, help available and advice regarding:
-How Child Development Service is typically conducted: Referral received and triaged within 7 days, child placed on waiting list for an initial child development clinic assessment, child is seen in face to face clinic for a full assessment, child will be placed on appropriate pathway for a follow up as necessary, report completed and distributed to the referrer, parents , used as an onward referral to other services etc
-delayed speech: Child can be referred to the SLT team for support
-lack of gestural communication: As above
-referrals for diagnostic assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): Child is seen for an initial child development assessment and then placed on the ASD pathway for a diagnostic assessment as needed.
