I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Please could you provide the following information:

1. The total number of new diagnoses of Parkinson’s disease recorded by your Trust/Health Board for each of the past four calendar years (2022,2023,2024,2025).

2. If available, a breakdown of these figures by:

a. a. Age groups (e.g. under 50, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, 80+)

b. b. Gender e.g. Male, Female

Clarification

I meant to say how many were diagnosed by the trust.

1. The total number of new diagnoses of Parkinson’s disease recorded by your Trust/Health Board for each of the past four calendar years (2022,2023,2024,2025).

Zero. The diagnostic function of Parkinson’s disease is outside the scope of CLCH services. When a patient is referred to services, they would already have a diagnosis.
