There are no dedicated roles for either in CLCH. A group of around 20 staff volunteer as mentors, as required, alongside their contracted roles. The Organisational Development team may coach if required but this is a small art of what the team does. In 2024, 14 frontline staff were trained to support more junior staff as coaches, again alongside their principle roles. More senior staff have access to the NHS Leadership Academy coaching and mentoring register, a free service.
