To confirm if microbiology testing is handled via external insourced labs
We outsource our pathology.
Procurement team respond only if CLCH has insourced any of the listed services via contracts they manage. If we do hold the information please confirm whether CLCH uses insourcing providers for:
• Haematology
• Histopathology
• Microbiology
• Oncology
confirm whether any of these services (especially microbiology) are insourced and if any contracts exist:
CLCH does not routinely operate in-house microbiology laboratories, as CLCH is a community healthcare rather than an acute or hospital trust.
