Who is the Head of Security for the trust?

There is no such role in the Trust. Trust security matters are managed by the Trust Security Team: clcht.security@nhs.net

Do you use an external provider for your security and if so when does this current contract end? If this goes back out to tender where will it be advertised?

- The Trust is not responsible for security provisions at the vast majority of the sites from where it operates, as they are a ‘tenant’.

- At sites where the Trust is responsible, security guards are outsourced to an external provider (through its estates contract) on a case by case basis, when there is an identified need. The Trust does not substantively employ any security guards, nor does it have any permanent postings fulfilled by external providers.

- Where the Trust is responsible, CCTV is managed, monitored and maintained by an external provider as part of its estates contract.

- The Trust’s estates contract, including security, expires on 31 August 2025. A multi-year total facilities management service has recently been procured which commences thereafter.
