Your baby/child is constantly changing and learning new things. As they become more active and confident with their developing skills it’s important to think ahead and plan for how best to keep them safe. Here are some helpful resources to help you think about how you can make your home and your baby/child’s environment safe for them. If you have any questions about home safety please speak to your health visiting team who can answer questions and help you to access advice and support.

The summer is a wonderful time to enjoy being outside with you baby/child. Babies and children have very delicate skin which burns easily and they are also affected by the heat. Keeping your baby/child cool and protecting their skin is really important as soon as the weather starts getting hot.
