All Age Continuing Healthcare and Complex Care services in West and North London transferring to CLCH

CLCH has formally agreed to take on individualised commissioning responsibilities for All Age Continuing Healthcare and Complex Care services in West and North London, with the transfer taking place today, 1 July.

Following agreement by the Trust’s Board, CLCH will assume responsibility for delivering these services, marking an important step in strengthening community-based care and improving outcomes for patients across the region.

The newly formed West and North London ICB will hold statutory responsibilities for the service, including oversight and final decision-making, while the assessment and contracting for the services will transfer to CLCH. Patients, families and carers should continue to receive the support they need, with no disruption as responsibilities move to the Trust.

James Benson, Chief Executive Officer at CLCH, said: “I am delighted to confirm that from today we will take on responsibility for operational delivery of the majority of All Age Continuing Healthcare and Complex Care services across West and North London. This is an important milestone for CLCH and reflects our shared ambition to provide high-quality, joined-up care in our communities.
