What was the total cost of specialling at your Trust for the last financial year (or a recent 3-month period)? “Specialling” refers to 1-to-1 nursing observation and support, typically undertaken by agency and/or bank nursing staff.

 

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust does not employ agency nursing staff for this activity.

 

The Trust also does not record “specialling” as a specific request reason within our systems. As such, the exact cost associated with “specialling” cannot be separately identified.

 

However, the Trust does record a broader category of “One-to-One Patient Care” for bank staff, which may include some activity that could be considered specialling.
